Can Change Happen In An Instant?
YES- Ask this One question to eliminate all self-sabotage
Last week I made a quick little video blog about how one question has enabled me and hundreds of my clients to eliminate self-sabotage in our lives. The power of this question can create change in an instant.
I discovered this one question many years ago, asking this question often especially in moments where it matters most has help me live more intentionally, have more accountability and create the life I desire.
This one question will have you breaking destructive habits and keep you moving in the direction of your dreams.
The one question you can ask yourself to break destructive habits is:
“IS THIS TAKING ME CLOSER OR FUTHER AWAY FROM MY DESIRED OUTCOME?”
Often when working with people I hear stories, thoughts, behaviour, language, habits which quite clearly if these continue will take the individual to a place where a lot of pain is experienced.
So by asking the simple question above, you now have a conscious choice to make. You can continue doing what you have always done or you can do something different. This very choice allows for accountability to take place.
We are already choosing, so how about making choices that will take us closer to what we want. Being conscious of your choices allows you to be responsible for where your lives end up. You cannot change the past, what you can change is your response to it and your future responses.
By making conscious decisions and being responsible for them you can begin making decisions that will take you closer to what you ideally want in life, from this place new options will show up.
Sometimes you may not even know what the new response will be but by simply stopping the old you have allowed space for the new to come in.
You will no longer feel like a victim, you will no longer be reactive but rather responsive, and this all lies in your commitment to be conscious, decide and take actions that are good for you.
Use this question in your life this week whenever you feel like you are not moving in the direction you would like, and notice what happens.
