When you submit an enquiry via our website contact form, we collect:

Appointment Booking
When you book an appointment through Acuity Scheduling (our online booking platform), you may provide:

- Appointment preferences and notes

Website Analytics

- Device and operating system information
This data is collected in aggregate and is generally not linked to you personally.
2. The Free Call Quiz, Advertising and Emails
The free call quiz
When you use the quiz at wendyjacobs.com.au/get-started, we collect:
- your first name, surname, email address, mobile number and suburb
- your answers to the quiz questions, which include how long you have smoked, how much you smoke, when you smoke, what you have tried before and why you want to stop now
- the time of any call you book
- how you found us, such as the ad you clicked
Health information
Some of your answers are about your health, because smoking is a health matter. The Privacy Act treats health information as sensitive information, and we only collect it with your consent. You give that consent when you continue past the email step of the quiz. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
We use these answers so Wendy knows a little about you before your free call and can tell whether her program suits you. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to choose who sees our ads.
Advertising and measurement
Our website uses tools that show us which ads bring people to the site and which of those people book a call. They are the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), Google tags, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how people move around and use a page, including the answers they tap. These tools use cookies and may collect details about your device and browser and the pages you visit.
When you book a call, the Meta Pixel tells Meta that a booking happened, so our ads can reach people who are likely to book. We do not send your quiz answers to Meta or Google.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings. You can change how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
Emails
If you ask for the free book, we email it to you. We may also email you about stopping smoking and about Wendy’s program. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time.
Who helps us, and where your information goes
We use other services to run the quiz, bookings and emails. They store or process your information for us, and only as we instruct:
- GoHighLevel, which holds our client records and sends our emails
- Acuity Scheduling, which manages bookings
- Meta, Google and Microsoft, for the advertising and measurement tools above
- Slack, which tells Wendy when a call is booked
- our automation server and database, hosted by Railway
- Entangle, the Australian marketing agency that runs our advertising and these systems
Several of these services store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
We keep your quiz answers and booking details while we need them to support you and to meet our legal obligations, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about our services
- Confirm, manage, and follow up on appointment bookings
- Provide hypnotherapy services to you
- Improve our website and understand how visitors use it
- Comply with our legal and professional obligations

Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM-K7FH48XF) to manage website tags and tracking scripts, including Google Analytics. Google Analytics helps us understand website traffic and usage patterns. Data collected is anonymised and subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Acuity Scheduling
Online appointment bookings are managed through Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company). When you book an appointment, your information is processed in accordance with the Acuity Scheduling Privacy Policy.
Elementor
Our website forms are built using Elementor. Form submissions are transmitted securely and stored within our WordPress environment. Elementor’s use of data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
